GCSE and IGCSE Private Candidate Application Form June 2012

To register for exams as a private candidate with Pascals College, fill out the private candidate application form and return it to the college along with the payment and:

• Photographic identification (passport or driving license)
• Four large, stamped, self-addressed envelopes to dispatch; exam documentation, statement of entry, statement of results and certificate
• Unit and option codes for the exams
• Your Unique Candidate identifier (UCI)

Your UCI is the thirteen digit code, found on your most recent statement of entry or results or certificate, and ends with a letter (i.e. twelve numerical digits and one letter)

You may return the form in person anytime between 10am-4pm on Monday –Friday during term or by post. For term dates please see the Academic Calendar.

As a private candidate you may sit a whole qualification or individual modules. For example AQA GCSE Biology consists of 4 modules and the cost of sitting a single module would be £50. The first biology module consists of 2 components and a candidate wishing to sit just one of the two components, e.g. BLY1AP, would be expected to pay £25.

GCSE per subject: £125

GCSE Combined Science: £325

GCE: per written module (AS / A2): 37.50 / language Speaking: £150 / Language listening £150

AQA Science practical route T: £225 (the cost of each component is £75 i.e. registration, PSA and practical, ISA (written paper))

AQA Science Practical route X: 300 (the cost of each component is £75 i.e. registration, PSV and practical task 1, practical task 2, EMPA)

OCR F213 / F216 / F323 / F326 / G483 / G486: £300 (each component £75 i.e. Quantitative practical and paper, Quantitative practical and written paper, Evaluative paper and registration)

OCR G493 and G496: £300 (£75 each portion i.e. registration plus two drafts plus marking)

OCR F333: £375 (£75 per task i.e. Task II, III, IV and V and registration)

OCR F336: £375 (£75 each portion i.e. registration plus three drafts plus marking)

EDEXCEL Chemistry: £300 (£75 per task i.e. B, C and D plus registration) EDEXCEL Biology and Physics: £300 (£75 registration, 3hrs lab use / consultation)

COURSEWORK: £275 (registration £75 plus 2 drafts and marking)

Registration Dates and Deadlines

The deadlines for June 2012 exams are:

GCSE – 14th February 2012
GCE (AS and A2) – 14th March 2012

After which late fees will apply.
